Firing Systems - Firing tcp guns in a horizontal requires one of two types of firing heads: a ball-drop or direct pressure. We have had extensive experience with every type of firing head on the market including many of our own designs which has provided us the knowledge to run the most reliable system every time. Our coil tubing differential ball-drop sleeve is a proprietary part that incorporates both systems in one. This unique feature gives the opportunity to fire with pressure if the well has the ability to and if not you can drop a ball and pressure up on the tubing to initiate the firing head. We have found that this is needed more and more as the use of sleeves that have the tendency to not open are used. When a sleeve opens partially or not at all and you cant achieve sufficient rate to pump down a wireline tool string this firing head is most convenient considering most of the time it is not known whether sufficient pressure could be reached to initiate the pressure firing head. This firing system has saved our customers from having to make additional runs and saved lots of wasted hours of operation.
TCP with a Plug - On many occasions we have run tcp guns with a plug at the same time. There are many times during a multi-stage frac operations that will require coil-tubing operations to isolate and then perforate the next stage. We have devised a process that solves this problem and have had great success implementing it.
Time-Delay System - Our system for running multiple guns for a toe stage, screenout, or recompletion has been proved to be an extremely reliable system. This systems allows for running any number of perforating guns and spaced out from each other any number of feet apart. We have run as many as 32 guns at once.
